We're still experiencing some difficulty on the workload side due to scheduling issues for Keith and myself, but we're working it all out.

In the meantime, we're looking for a few people to fill in staff spots for headline posts, forum/site moderation, and outside promotion. If any of you are at all interested, shoot me an e-mail at eddie@bemanistyle.com. I'm gonna try to setup some perks for everyone on staff (possibly sample CDs, misc. free stuff, discounts at mdsb). We're only looking for a couple of people for each spot so once they're filled that's it. You're more than welcome to apply for more than one position. If we feel you're qualified for multiple things then we'll me more than happy to appoint them to you!

hey guys, just wanted to pop in and let you know that we haven't forgotten about this place. We rushed into getting it started in time for ACen, but after we got back from Chicago we all got hit by pretty different, and rather substantial circumstances that have halted development a bit. We expect to be over all of that and be back on track for final implementation of all of our feature sets by July 11th, hopefully leading towards early August completion (in time for Comiket).

One of our biggest projects is actually going to cost us a bit of money to get started. It's meant to be a big surprise, so I don't want to ruin it, but if you'd like to help us toward getting it together sooner place an order at mydjsobad.com. A portion of the proceeds will go toward what we need to get this project off the ground, and the other portion will go towards our early August product update. Thanks for sticking with us guys, we promise some more stuff happening in the very near future!

I know, I know. Updates have been really slow. We're plugging away at getting the databases put together, as well as some other really cool stuff we're going to announce in the very near future. Progress is being made, it's all just happening behind the scenes. That way it'll all be 100% ready when we do release it all to the public.

In the meantime we've gone ahead and opened up a last.fm group for members of the site and fans of J-Core in general. Just something cool to do in regards to tracking what we all listen to the most, or which artists are the most popular amongst J-Core fans.

We'll have other site related updates over the course of the weekend as most of the static pages are expected to be completed.

After the overwhelming response we received in regards to our special Japanese guest DJs last year, we’ve decided to not only invite them back but invite some of their friends to put on what may possibly be the first and only Hardcore themed party at any anime con, officially being dubbed “HARDCORE SYNERGY”. Some of Japan’s most well known hardcore producers, along with some collaborators from the UK and US are going to running the entire spectrum of hardcore electronic music all Friday night. Many of the DJs playing will be immediately recognizable from their tracks in Konami’s widely popular Bemani games, and they all have some surprises up their sleeves to please their existing fans along with their new ones. So come check us all out for a night of explosively high energy hardcore music from all over the world.
Some of you who are in the know are aware that we've been working on this project for a long time (since July of last year), and now it's finally coming to fruition. Consider today the "unofficial" launch of the website, with the official launch being Anime Central 2008 @ the HARDCORE SYNERGY show. You may notice that most of the features aren't up right now, but many of them will be online by the day of the event. The database is still in the works as we have a very ambitious setup in mind for it, but as time goes on you'll see it being added with plenty of interactivity associated with it.

For those of you who aren't quite in the know, this a project based on growing and nurturing the communities around underground and obscure electronic music. While much of our focus is on J-Core, we're lovers of all styles of electronic music with the hope that at some point we can help to make it accessible to people who otherwise would've had no way to find it. Thanks to support and help from some of the biggest names in hardcore worldwide we're already working towards that goal, as time goes on you should all expect to see some really cool exclusive stuff as well as incentives for being active members of the site. The idea behind this all is community and friendship, so interactivity is going to be a major focus of ours. We only hope you all enjoy using this site as we have been making it. Our staff is made up of fans and supporters, so we'll be right there with you.

That all being said, welcome to cyber.beat.global. We hope you enjoy your stay, and help towards our goal of furthering electronic music as a whole.
